YIKES! That's quite an undertaking. Maybe not as bad as the WH40K
version,
though.
I've played for a very long time so I have lots of minis. I currently have
about half of deathwing, all of ravenwing. All the battle companies, 1 of
the tactical companies and all of the devastator companies plus 30 land
raiders, all the predators ... (you get the picture)
As to exact numbers, who knows? There isn't much that points to that
info. Each Company, however, has its own dreads (maybe two dreads
for each company?). Same probably goes for THawks. However, painting up
(let alone buying!) 10 or more new style THawks is probably prohibitive.
The T'hawks are a bit daunting but I figured a chapter would probably only
have access to four or five. Most of the troops would be dropped prior to a
battle.
What are you going to do for the Ravenwing, composition wise? Are you
going to follow the "50 unit" maximum suggested in that WD with the
Space Marine special rules?

If you don't mind my asking, what exactly are you doing this for?
Is this going to be a competition submission, or do you just want an
entire chapter? Either way, I'd be interested in seeing the finished
product if at all possible.
I am not entirely sure why I am doing it??? Gives me something to paint I
guess. It would be cool though. IF I get it all done (Big IF) I will get
some photos done. I might get some photos done as I finish companies.
