Ahhhhh!! This is something that has been a concern for our gaming group, and the way we "solved" it was simple... Unit coherency is measured from the edge of the model/stand, however - all barrages need to do is TOUCH the unit in order to have a chance to hit (no "half over the model")... The reasoning is this - the coherency/template coverage rules were designed so that standard barrages had a chance to effect 2 units minimum - 6cm template = 6cm coherency...

Yes this probably violates the rule, yes it makes barrages more powerful, and yes it doesn't differentiate between the weapons that actually don't require the "half over" rule - but it's simple! Besides... do you really need to have a barrage be half over a mega gargant to have a chance to hit it?

If you REEEALY want a better way to avoid confusion, the number for unit coherency should really be a bit less than that of the average template... Like 4 or 5cm or something...
