The best for old fluff in general would be 96-150.
original epic had the most stuff between 104-130
after that its 2nd edition, with the TL stuff in the 160s+
get as many as you can- the old WD make great reading, but 96 to 157
will give you the best feeling for the game
I myself am rebuilding my collection. I gave many away around '93 when I
tired of the hobby. Rule #1 always keep your old stuff- you might want it
later.
