As for using infiltrators, now that the IG art'y is coming out, one might like
to have forward observers. I think originally the rule was a hold over from
WH40K, but with more artillery now coming in to play, detection of units
becomes more important. It is rather nice to rain hot flaming death upon the
hordes arrayed against you, even at units that would not normally be detected.
