as one of those old timers, I have only filled in gaps in my armies with new
models. I got too much of the old stuff to just replace it all. And I have
no intentions of changing over some of my stands, especially my beastmen, as
they are pack animals anyways. And I do like many of the rules changes they
instituted, but I hate the fact that they went so generic in the army lists.
It used to be that each army had some unique characters and company cards that
one could use. For Chaos there were the Primarch Demon Princes, and the Eldar
had their aspect warriors. But now it's all cookie-cutter models and card-
board leaders. Put more character back into the game and I think you'll see
more people get interested in the game.
