To avoid problems with tanks in hand to hand, I tend to place infantry only
detachments in front of the tanks - If you can stop the enemy reaching your
tanks altogether, you will avoid the problem.

On the subject of Blast Markers, perhaps you should not have a detachment of
super heavy weapons only any more than you would have a Titan with only
Super Heavy weapons.
