They get the 2+ save in 40k. I figured that with the scope of Epic that
2+ wouldn't be worth a save if 3+ (the normal power armor) didn't get you
anything. I just used it as a justification to pump up their CAF by one,
the idea being that they will last loger in CC. The other point came from
their ability to frenzy and still have a parry (in 40k).

very good point, unlike the daemon engines the Khorne troops don't lose
enough to make up the difference. I agree that they shouldn't have that
ability. I had wanted to include the FF
restriction just the same. It fits the units background (they are
frenzied). I would suggest that the no FF restriction be given to them
just to even it out.
Remember to, that they don't always get the 30cm charge; only if they will
end up in CC that turn. That power is copied straight out of the Chaos
Codex.
