I don't think "handling" it is the problem. Taste, maybe...

>used it, mongols have used it, everybody has used it!
--------> same old tired thing the Skinheads/Aryan nuts/fascist retro
wannabees put out in their crap. "The Nazi's didn't invent it" etc. Doesn't
erase the baggage the Nazi's loaded it with.

>Before WWII there was no problem with it
---------> Exactly. _before_ the war there was no problem with it. Since
then, there has been.

, and indeed until recently it was
>just considered the banner of an old enemy!

many people considered it at all.

, comical if you ask me. I'm not stupid, i can tell what is

ahead and say that the concentration camps were a hoax, that's usually the
next line...

(And I wouldn't get too hopped up on a "hammer & sickle" plastered all over
my mini's either.)

making a Templar army.

-------> Yep - killed lots of their own folks. That gives me an idea...see
below...

, everybody has exterminated large numbers of

--------> Not true.

---------> The peaceniks can be a bunch of wackos, but no more so than the
neo-nazis, skinheads etc. I haven't heard too many cries for "War Crimes"
unless you have troops rounding up civillians and raping, shooting,
mutilating them etc - and how to you quantify a slaughter as "a little"?
(And peace- what a terrible concept, what could those people be thinking -
Unlikely, yes, and I don't think we need to dismantle our M-16's, but ain't
that the purpose of having an army - to give you peace?)

more organized and systematic than most. Not just Jews involved there
either - any relatives at Malmedy?

SS were the greatest fighters in history, you really should expect some
grief.

-----------> well this gives me an idea, which I mentioned above - why don't
you make a unit using the insignias of all those forces you mentioned above
as massacring civillians, etc. Mongols, Russians, etc. Why stop with just
the SS? What a great theme for a miniatures game...
