Hmmm, maybe I'm wierd, but I'd never field LR alone. I use them in several
ways

1: Core of an Armour Detachment, which will include 1 Vindicator, 2 bike
units, 3 Whirlwinds, and only 3 Land Raiders.

2: Transporting Termie, pretty self explanatory

3: Just recently to give some long range fire-power to my assault squads,
since they have the same movement as units with Jump Packs.
