The effect of which can be demoralization.

This seems a little silly as a broken demoralized detachmet is not going
to affect the entire army when it is blown away, for the exact same reason
that land mines don't kill, they maim. Blowing away a det. can be a
relief, as friendlies no longer have to see them fleeing in terror.

They are too hard for what they give you, I rarely go for objectives.

I see your point, but I don't think that this is the way to go about it. I
personally feel that the rules need no tweaking at all, but the missions
you play do.

I really believe that a 1 ordinatus limit should be put on the game, but
then again, why single out Imperials who only have 1 disrupter. What about
Pulsas, Biovores and the like?
Again, Make a mission where morale is not used, but instead you have an
objective to accomplish, then tell me how you like the game. It makes a
HUGE difference.

When you dream there are no rules, people can fly, anything can happen.
Sometimes, there's a moment as you're waking, that you become aware of
the real world around you, but you're still dreaming.
You may think you can fly, but you better not try it...
