I think the epic 40K versions of the nurgle daemon engines represnt the
spacemarine versions quite well. I wouldn't bother about special rules for
the nurgle plague tower boarding actions. It was a minor ability rarely
used due to the speed of the tower. It would also require making up new
rules (special ability) , which is against the style of epic 40k (ie each
unit having exotic rules as in space marine)

Yes. The old imperial knights use to have a 3+ armour unmodified from the
front only while the slaanesh ones had 2+, a -1 to hit and a 4+ pyskic
save. I would consider these to be pretty equal in quality. Therefore
they should have the same in epic 40K (ie save ability)

I'm not sure if I would give the titans the save ability. It would follow
the background but it would make them a lot more expensive. How much do
you think that would cost. Say the questor titan stays as is (10FP) and
gaines save, while the subjugator now has 3 AT, close combat weapon and
save. Would this make them equal to warhounds? 200 points each?

they were horrible in close combat in SM. I think it depends on your luck
and the army your facing. If you opponent has any deathrays, your titans
are in trouble. They had no shilds in the old rule but thier was a -1 to
hit them. I would say they are about equal except for close combat (more
durable now in CC)

not.

This is represented by thier large movement rate in E40k.

It didn't help much in SM. just kill one tower, gain 4VP. not worth it if
you are chaos. I like thier stats in E40k. Just like in SM except no
shield and they don't cost nearly as much.

To much effort to make special rules like this for only one unit.

Do not ask which creature screams in the night,
Do not question who waits for you in the shadow.
It is my cry that wakes you in the night,
And my body that crouches in the shadow.
I am Tzeench and you are the puppet
That dances to my tune
