I would not count GW out yet. They aren't perfect, granted. But they
did not get to be the biggest miniature maker by being completely
stupid. These figures should be a wake-up call, and I think it might
be working. There are some signs that the power is leaving the
accountants and going back into the hands of the studio. GW has a
massive marketing power - if they do the right thing, their sales will
turn around at rocket speed.
