Sauron,

Do you remember the original 'Thunderhawk' type vehicle from 1st Ed.

This transporter had a flight path and then skidded something like 4d6cms
before coming to a stop.

I dont recall the full rules for these transports but they could be used as
'gliders' for a Market Garden scenario.

They even carried Dreads and Robots!!
