I like this idea, but I would allow Stormboyz to be chosen. Why ?
a) They're limited to one mob per warband.
b) Stormboyz are 'disciplined' Orks in uniform. Blood Axes are Orks in
uniform. Why GW decided that the Stormboyz should belong to the Goffs is
something I never understood (probable because they are considered CC
troops).
I would limit the Imperial vehicles available to Chimeras, Rhinos,
Hellhounds, and an occasional Land Raider or Leman Russ for the Warboss.
Because of this, the price doesn't need to be increased because the really
useful stuff is limited or not allowed (especially the artillery !). The
Orks have their Flakwagons, so they don't need Hydras, and they've got loads
of Buggies/Bikes so no Imperial bikes/Land Speeders are needed.
For the Snakebites, I would allow Skarboyz because they are reluctant to use
firearms and the old WildBoy mini can be used perfectly to represent the
average Snakebite. The Snakebites would only be allowed to have :
Squiggoths, Big Gunz (Squig Catapults), Gretchin, Skarboyz, Boarboyz.
Normal Boyz, Nobz and Battlewagons would be limited. This would result in a
primitive, close combat clan which would fit the fluff (according to my
interpretation) perfectly. It would just be very unlikely to see a
'Mechanised Infantry Snakebite Warband'...
