Well, unless you consider Jervis himself a flunky now too... :)

Bummer. Kiddyfied. Expect the Daemons to be more comic-book horror from
now on... Evidence: The new Greater Daemon models.

>Slann
No big loss, they sucked in 40K :)
>Non Demon Warp creatures
Never were really a core part. Nice to see a MENTIOn of them though :)
>Zoats
lol I remember those. I thought they looked lame, almost as bad as the
first Eldar.
>Gretchins being something other than Ork flunkies
Heh, well, they seem to be making a comeback in Gorkamorka.
>Imperial planets in side the Eye of Terror
That comes from before the Chaos Powers concept was fleshed out.
>Penal Legions
Those were so cool :)
>Genestealers being something other than Trynid assault troops
No comment. Always thought the 'Stealers were a one trick horse.
>Jokaero
No loss there other then the unbalancing Digit Weapons.
>The Space Wolves home planet being named "Lucan"
>For that matter Space Wolves being more or less normal marines
Must have been mutated or something :) The wolfies have become a totally
different creature then were first presented.
>Rogue Traders as a major force
And the campaign system....
>The Dark Angels home base being in orbit over "Delahon"
Heheh, the name of their base and history have changed more time then the
wolves..
>Dark Angels, not Blood Angels having the "Blood" feast/ritual
Shh! That's a Secret!
>Space Marine Ranks other than "Captain" and "Sergeant"
The GW rank structure NEVER made sense. As a Corporal in the US Marines I
bristle at the short thrift given NCO's in the Space Marines.
>Beastmen in the IG
Go beastmen! Especially the ones with Frenzon!
>Squats in the IG
<YAWN> Damned stunties.
>Commissars shooting running IG troops or officers
Yeah!
>Commissar Training squads
Yeah!
>Horus, in person, assaulting the Imperial Palace
Eh?
>IG troops being in the palace during the assault.
That was never in doubt. Who do you think was taking most of the
casualties?
>Human Bombs
One of the sickest/coolest ideas in WH40K
>Jet bikes for humans
Worthless anyways. And with the vehicle rules being what they are...even
more worthless in the new editions. Remember when there were only so many
gravdrives left on earth and every one had to be scrounged becasue no new
ones could be made?
>Dreadnoughts being something you could get out of, and that you would go

And did not look like a brick standing on two legos.
