Wolf3D *is* the same as Descent or Quake... (in single
player mode anyway) It just doesn't have all the bells & whistles.

ObGW: The upcoming SSI/GW game (Chaos Gate) is supposed to be
turn-based, correct?

ObEpic: Uhm... Well, this isn't totally on-topic, but I'm working
on an E40k army-building program, written in Java. The final
product will allow you to create & print out an army with a nice
graphical interface & it'll take care of all the calculations
when you add & remove units/squads/detachments. The best part
is that the army list definitions will be read in at run-time,
so you can tweak the data files to represent any house rules you
may use - add new army lists, new units & new detachments, or
rewrite the ones already there. Anything that is possible in the
current army lists can be represented. So far I'm only about 1/3
of the way done, though. I'll post more when it's finished.
