No, it isn't. It is like comparing a Road bike to a mountain bike, they
have fundamental similarities, but they are not the same.
Wolf 3d is essentially a 2d game, in a 3d perspective, it is no different
to Gauntlet, and the like. Quake is truly 3d, as is descent...
It's a subtlety, but it makes a BIG difference.
