Really? Which ones? (I have zero WH40K stuff, only Rogue Trader etc)

A reasonable position, I just don't happen to agree with it. It has as
little support as my own statement, of "Once an SM, always an SM (for
command purposes)". Would, say, Magnus the Red suddenly forget about
complex strategies just because he gets awesome powers? Examine the
rationale behind the rule. And if it's "logic be damned, the WH40K
universe isn't particularly logical anyway", an unarguably
self-evidently true proposition, consider that all you're doing is
replacing one repeat one stand in the entire army with another of
approximately equal worth. This should cause a strategy rating change?
What would your position be on, say, an all-SM army lead by an
Inquisitor? One of the Ordo Malleus along with his Grey Knight (Space
Marine Legion 666) bodyguard?
