It was only tea because the barrel of potion was destroyed by a Roman galley
(which caused a fisherman to be pulled into the sea by a fish he caught) and
Asterix happened to have the 'strange herbs' Getafix had given him. He used
the herbs to rig up a bogus potion to pump up the morale of the British.
