Well, look at the size of the buildings and ruins that have been included with EPIC.
Unless you want to say that the arched doorways on the ruins are 30' wide (and maybe
you do), the height scale seems pretty in line with the horizontal scale.
Also think of the distance one edge of a 40 mm stand would be from the other if the
horizontal scale was smaller than the vertical, and then how close GW thinks
individuals should be in their units for 40K. No, I think the scale is supposed to
hold true between horizontal and vertical.
