The thing is, it *is* quite silly that an Avatar (or a Warlock Titan)
can't step on a Fleshound just because their attack is considered
psychic. My group handled this one (at the suggestion of the Chaos
player, incidentally) by saying, sure! the fleshounds are immune to the
psychic portion of the close combat -- but they're not immune to the
*physical* portion of the combat. Same thing for a Lord of Battles --
sure, take your psychic save vs. the Warlock Titan's attack... oh, you
made it! Congrats, you don't take psychic damage... now take normal
damage.

Of course, this actually *does* matter for the Lord of Battles, since
you can use Chaos Cards to save from normal damage but not psychic
damage...
