 Read the rules. p31 "Super heavy weapons can be fired at any target
within range" - why should my shadowsword shoot at the nearest gretchin
when there's a titan on the field?

To protect your tanks, either engage the SHW very quickly, or have a
long range duel with SHWs of your own. Simply screening your
battlewaggons with bikeboyz will not do it.

It's not cheese, it's common sense. And SHWs are not cheap.

And yes, the landraider does rock.
