But you do still generate BMs. The same goes for a regular unit using
straight FP. Rulebook page 18, section 2. Work out blast markers - "The
number of Blast markers a target detachment takes depends on the total
firepower directed at it by an attacking detachmet _before_ modification
(for Assault orders, Blast markers on the detachment, etc.)." The text
about SHWs on page 31 is similar.
