It you don't let all units within 15cm have line of sight, strange
things can happen. I had 4 Marines run up to one Ork out in the open
when the rest of his very large mob was in woods. I had a 4 to 1
advantage and won. His huge mob broke and ran away, missing there
chance to assault. We thought about this as decided that we would not
consider LOS for fire fights.

The rules say you don't need LOS or a Firepower Factor to snap fire, so
this was not too much of a leap of faith.

Also real shooting is much more destructive that Fire Fights, I see
Firefights as more of a playing chicken thing. You blast away at close
range until someone runs back for cover.
