I should have been more clear. I meant she was patronizing me by playing
at all, not that she was holding back on her tactics. I gave her advice on
what she should do to win. I almost played both sides. Now that I
remember, I picked her army for her, too. It was really to explain the
rules more than anything. No point in getting her to play and then beating
her so badly she doesn't have any fun. Then I'd never get her to play
again. What I was worried about was that she was just playing to make me
happy, and that she didn't really have any interest in playing again. I
love to play Epic, and it would be a great thing for us to do together. We
have very few common interests.

Well, don't let me get off-topic. You know this list won't tolerate that.
