I forsee a problem at the gaming table. There are only three models
available, yet this proposal has something like 175 possible weapons
combinations. Short of herculean conversion efforts or breaking out my
legos, I'm not sure how I would represent which particular vehicle my
engineers have sent me each battle. I'm not fanatical about WYSIWYG,
but I feel this is stretching things a bit.

I like these.

I would suggest that the gyrocopter moves only 35 or 30. Like a falcon,
not a jet bike.

This goliath would be the only unit with a mega-cannon that is not a war
engine. It would also be the only unit with both mega-cannon and
artillery. I suggest that it have a minimum range of at least 30 cm.

Yes, the drop pod method would be the simplest, and require no
additional rules. I'm just not happy with the randomness of pods. I
think I would end up with house rules about impassable terrain and flak
units firing on them, too.
