Concur. Also, 60 Deathstrikes is a lot of Imperial Guard Artillery
Batteries. And a lot of points.

In 2nd edition, all at once, all multiple barrages with a few harpoons
if the opposition has titans, and a few Vortex missiles for special
targets.
It's not unusual to have to face 100 Barrage templates hitting over 50%
of the time in a 10,000 pt force. Not merely that, but in 2nd ed, they
could target command groups, and didn't need LOS.

As regards countermeasures - in 2nd ed, 20 THs would do it. The one time
he tried it on me, I used Bugs, mainly in Mycetic Spores (Drop Pods).
This worked a treat. The same would work in E40K, as would any airpower,
THs (of course) drop pods, Engines of Vaul or other skimmers.
Deathstrikes require LOS now, and cost a lot more relative to other
things.
