>[----->] I understand your point. We had this problem also, but
eventually decided 'inflicting a blast maker' counted as a hit for a disrupt
weapon. The wording for them doesn't help. It says you roll a dice for each
disrupt weapon and each 4+ rolled places and additional blast marker. It
would have helped if they said something like 'roll 1 dice for each disrupt
weapon firing, each hits on a 4+, each hit inflicts an addittional blast
marker on the target, disrupt weapons cause no other damage.'
>[----->]

actually I thought it said "roll 1 dice ... place one blast marker in
addition to any other blast markers that would normallly be placed"

[----->] You may be right, I didn't have to book with me, so it's not a quote.
My point was they never actually mention hits, probably so as not to generate
confusion when it comes to allocating hits, which you don't do with disrupt weapons.
The use two diffrent definitions of a 'hit'. One refers to the opposite of a miss, i'e you
rolled a dice and go high enough, the other definition refers to actualy causlties, ie.e
how hits are allocated. Disrupts weapons do a hit in the first sense, but not the second.
