No, they're not. Army 2 has a Chaos Engine as a detachment commander,
giving the order to the Marines. Army 1 has a (presumably tactically
superior) Marine detachment commander, giving orders to the Daemons. I
think it works....

Exceopt that the daemon possessed engines are everywhere labeled as
being Chaos Space Marine units... they're in a different section than
the Daemons in the summary sheet, for example.

Obviously, the bound Daemons take orders much better than the ones
running loose.... ^_^
