-->Define "our own fluff" please. If by that you mean just making our
own stories for the universe, using the base line GW fluff as the
starting point, then fine, I'm all for it. (By this I mean things like a
story about a SM company commander, or a TL triad, or some such). If
you're talking about creating a whole new background for NetEpic, I'd be
opposed to it. As has been mentioned, the fluff is what got me into the
whole kit and caboodle. Yes, the extant fluff is in serious need of
reconciling and editing, but it is still the basis upon which the game
revolves, at least in terms of definitions and concepts.
