It is OK to allow fliers, but you must keep in mind that the use of fliers
will alter your games! You'll find that focus is shifted from ground combat
to Air combat and strike sorties! If that is what you want, then go for it!
Imho, Space Marines should be allowed to field T-Hawks unrestricted even
though you don't play with fliers normally. Unlike all other armies SM
dosn't have any heavy equippment to support them, and they need to be able
to deploy rapidly in order to have a fighting chance!

In one of the EZines, there is a battle rep were I managed to use 5
thunderhawks to pretty devestating effect, but then that was more due to
undefended artillery and devestators than anything else.
I won the battle 31 VPs to 76 VPs but it has to be noted that I lost most
of the Thunderhawks in the attack.

Hi
I tend to bring 3 T-hawks every time I get the chance. Although they have
great firepower and are hard to hit, they do not make allthat difference.
At least not in 3-4k games.
