Oh, I quite agree. What I'm objecting to is making players stop and think, "What unit is this, and can I play that card on it?" It's the 'stop and...' part I'm trying to avoid here - anything that interrupts the flow of play and requires players to go look something up.

I admit it's nitpicking over a small issue, as players have their units memorized and most armies are small enough that it's not hard to figure out. I'm trying to figure out if the fluffiness and enjoyment is worth the additional hassle of another rule. Probably is to some folks, so I'll put it in as an optional rule.

Assuming this flies, are we done with Chaos?
