Hi!

Oh, no need to apologize. It was a valid question, and one that gets
asked often.

NetEpic is fan based, we are not affiliated with GW in any way. Our
works are based on GW's old second edition rules, but have changed/been
added to in so many ways over the years its our own product now. We
recognize the use of terms copyrighted by GW and such use shouldnot be
construed as a challenge to them.

We have been on many occasions been "looked over" by GW's legal
department and to this day have not been notified by them on any
objectionable use of their IP or violating their IP guidelines.

I think as you do, that if NetEpic would have been Epic 40k instead of
what they presented, perhaps there would still be a vibrant epic
community outside the few bastions that still exist.

We carry the torch as always and will continue to do so in the future. :-)
