Well, of course, in my mind, we wouldn't _say_ that it was official. I
envisioned it as more of a sort of standardized set of house rules that a
lot people would happen to play by, and if it were popular enough, it could
be played at cons as a "house rules" table for Epic 40k. But you're
probably right. As to playtesting, well, we have probably the largest
concentration of good, qualified and dedicated playtestors available (at
least judging by the shoddy jobs GW does :P).
