My understanding has always been that demons larger than Blood
Thirsters, et. al. can't really exist outside the Warp. Not enough
chaos, I guess. If you were fighting a campaign or scenario on a chaos
world in the Eye of Terror, however, I would certainly let you go a
little overboard. After all the Banelord and Lord of Battles are
pretty damn big daemons.
