Nope, nope, nope, nope. It only takes eight years to make a Marine
at
most, and a person who is fully compatable with the implants may be
done
with the implantation process in just four years. Of course, it
takes
another ten years after that for both Progenoid implants to fully
mature, so that the gene-seed can be cultivated, but that's another
story....

Oh I see it only takes a mere 18+ years to make a Marine SCOUT. (said
in a playfullly sarcastic voice). Before we get too far off track
here seeing who know more about Marine biology, My point was in
response to a comparison made about the number of Space Marines and
the number of soldiers in the U.S. military (Currently around 900,000+
to be reduced by another 46,000 by FY99). It takes far longer to make
a Marine.

Sorry to interrupt. You were talking about Space Marine Biology.
