I was ADA (Nike Herc & Patriot, with some side training on MANPADS) in
the real world. I am working on some add on rules for Missile ADA. My
first try had some problems.

Ah, yeah, snap fire. Got to love it. A unit gets to shoot at each unit
that comes in range, once. If you send 6 bikes chargeing in at 4
wartracks well each bike eats 4 dice of snap fire, which works out to
what, 5 dead bikes (sorry Matt, but that was the best I have ever done
with snap fire)

Well, if it was 1 LR and 2 WG that would be OK, and with in the spirit
of your army. You are running an army that is tribal, not TO&E type
army, so doing this is not a bad thing. 2 LR is not all that bad. I
don't have Codex:Space Puppies handy, but I think AB is, well, not
really in the Space Wolves. I could be wrong here, but isn't only Blood
Claws bike riders? Or do you mix Long Fangs, Grey Hunters and Blood
Claws in a single detachment? What ever.
My concept here would be that if you are adding the Atk Bikes in just to
eat blast markers, you are doing the dairy thing, if you are doing it
because it fits your concept of the chapter, well then we can talk. If
I were doing a SW Great Company (ack, never happen) I would do it some
thing like this:
Great Wolf:
4 Terms + 2 LD (this may or may not be a SC detachment, depends on what
else is in use and how big the game is)
3-4 detachents Grey hunters (6-8 tac stands per detachments)
1-2 detachments Long Fangs
1-2 detachments Blood Claws
Given the chapter in question, adding in a couple of termines and LR to
each detachments is not cheesy, but within the scope of the army.
However, Space Wolves them self are a bit cheesy, even if you do stick
to there basic concept, as stated in C:SW, because, well C:SW is cheesy,

The rules say they take up ONE slot. The Q&A says they take up one
slot, but you can house rule it to be two.
