Sauron,

The flakwagons have 2FP at a 30cm range. That's the same FP as a Big
Gun (like Traktor Kannon or Shok Attack) but 2/3 of the range. They
can certainly be used in a ground support role in Epic 40k, so why not
in Epic? And you're right, they look a lot like the old M3 based
quads.
