Some the things that cause short mold life are:

cheap RTV rubber --> rips easy
Bad mix of rubber --> poor detail, rips easy
Wrong mold release --> RTV turns spongy, rips easy

remember, all copywrite laws apply. But with some companies, you can play
a game called, Spot the Bitz.

See how many parts that were ripped off from other models that you can
identify on resin scifi or military kits

Tamiya kits seem to be popular donors.....
