I know we've had some discussion here on the first part, having
a detachment with assault orders riding in a detachment on march.
I don't think it should be legal, though I don't know whether it
actually is. (Just checked the Q&A and didn't see it there, in
either the answered ones or the pending one.) I'd check that
with your opponent first, and I wouldn't allow it myself.
That reduces the thing by 50 cm, and reduces the vulnerability
of the assault spawn and gives them the ability to shoot.
If it were easy to do, I'd like things on March orders to have to
move at 3 different times, and allow things to shoot at them at
any point along the way. But I don't see any way to do that.
I could make 'em move double move in movement phase, once more
in assault (but no assault!), or something similar. But that
doesn't bother me so much.
