I agree with this in theory, however, my opponents tend to take a few
expensive units as opposed to numerous cheap units. This lessens the
value of barrage weapons in our games. We have never used the Imperator
titans as our games never amount to more than 6,000 points per side. I
don't know what I would do against one of those. Probably run to the
other end of the board and hide:]

I like the shorter range weapons, but here again the predominant
strategy of my opponents is to sit back near their baseline on first
fire and send a few troops forward to take the objectives. I have
adapted my OOB selections to meet this type of game. To illustrate this
point, we have never had two titans CC each other. It would be strange
to see a titan armed with any of the CC weapons at one of our games.
