Al,

Since I am going to be your regular opponent I would like to say a few
things.

E40K is about abstraction, that is, overlooking what are superficial
differences. The support weapons for the squats should be (in my oppinion)
the same as the Impy Guard and the Marines. Why ?, well they are
constructed from the same STC template.
        
Secondly, I believe that we should use the Journal lists as the base for
the army with a few additions and alterations (Mainly, adding a bike
detachement, allowing the squats use of all rhino variants and tweeking the
Overlord). I intend to geet a copy of the lists today and have a look for
myself.

Whilst I think variation is good (anyone remeber my thread on Veteran
Marines :) I think we should keep any alterations we make within the spirit
of Abstraction.

Any thoughts.

And yet these are all referring to the same weapons ( + Rapier ). I
personally like the tech gaurd variation and would like to include these in
my Squat lists as it gives an army with very limited figure options a bit
more choice. Do you mind Mike ? Thats if my regulars oponents agree. Does
anyone have suggested stats for the Rapier. Any comments regarding these
inconsistencies ( I realise the Squat Lists where transcibbed from the
Journal )
