The Earthshaker artillery cannon mounted on a Basilisk has a 45� field of fire
too.

I disagree with this consideration, Tarantula is limited by the "choosing the
target rules" as normal, i.e the closer squad or the closer vehicle... it is
not allowed to fire all around !
btw you can mount on a Tarantula chassis 2 lascannons or 1 multimelta or 2
missile lauchers or 2 heavy bolters. So it can be tailored anti tank or anti
infantry as you need (or as you wish !!!)
