[Epic] A few questions...

As I am going to teach Epic to a new player this weekend, I am re-reading
the Rules, and some questions popped up. Some may be straitforward (as I
haven't finished the book yet), and because I has been some months now since
I read it, it could be that some questions can be easily answered with the
booklet itself.

Here they come :

a) Does an Initiative counter have to be drawn to determine initiative for
War Engines even when no WE are used ?

b) Picture the following : Orky Det. A with Shooty Boyz are put on
Overwatch, while Orky Det. B with Battlewagons are put on March (75cm move).
The Battlewagons pick the Shooties up (near the beginning of their move),
move as far behind the lines as thay can go, and drop the Shooties off,
which can still fire with Overwatch. Is this allowed ?

c) Does a Battlewagon which picks up an Ork for a ride lose 5cm of its move
?

d) Same situation as b), but Det. A are Blood Axes Kommandoes on Assault
orders. Is the total distance covered (assuming the battlewagons start next
to their passengers) : 3 x 25 = 75 cm during the movement phase (no movement
for the Kommandoes allowed) + 30 cm (infiltrating move) + 2 x 10 cm = 20 cm
(double move when assaulting in CC) = a total of 125cm ?

e) Infantry are allowed to move up to double their move during the assault
phase to get into CC (p.21). But Boarboyz & Eldar Jetbikes, which are
vehicles/cavalry, are not infantry and are therefore not allowed to move at
double speed. Right ?

f) 4 Basilisk with 4 BMs can fire at an enemy with a barrage which covers 3
models. This results in placing 1 BM for firing 12 FP at the target, but
actually doing no damage as the 4 BMs cancel out the 4 SHWs. The same goes
for 4 Bombards, except that they do no damage but place 3 BM for the 24 FP
that could have been inflicted. Is this correct ?

Many greetings,

Carl Billen
