Chaos marines used to be one of the best basic infantry troops in the
game, as they had the save modifier and a better chance to hit. I
defeated bugs lots of times as a chaos player; usually with lots of
marines and very select GD's (Mortarion could be very powerful, LOC's
could wreak big havoc). LOB's were usually effective if you could hide
them for DOminatrixes part of the time (psychic save was a big benefit
in these battles).
