No, IIRC, after the drubbing they gave the arabs in '56 and '67, the
IDF got into the mode of "Tank = lord of battlefield" which was fine,
except for the recent development of wire-guided AT missiles carried by
arab infantry. Infantry is very important, so their combined arms was
better by time of the '82? invasion of

So, just like in Real Life, Mech Infantry is a good idea for E40k.

An all tank IG det. would work fine, as long as there are some infantry to
back them up, otherwise, they can be easy meat for good CC troops.

an all tank slug fest would be fun, in a 1941 western desert kind of way.
leave the inf. at home, and let the tanks roll.
