I've been playing Warhammer since 1988, 40K since 1986 (when it was
Laserburn) and Space Hulk since 1991 (off and on for all of them) and I
don't see that much major change in the background. I think the main
problem is that everytime a Codex comes out it goes on and on about how
great the featured army is, making it seem like they are in no trouble
at all. The Imperium is allegedly still in danger of a complete Tyrannid
takeover, massive Orc Waagh, or Chaos infestation. Its just now thier is
so much fluff that it can't help but contradict itself.

Well thats just my 2 cents.
