Welcome Brian, in the future you don't need to quote the whole article
when referring to it... just the relevant parts.

I've played 5 or 6 games of E40k, and your tactic is a good one, but it's
not a game breaker... lemme show you why.

1) Units on march are very vulnerable. When on march you can't take
advantage of cover and use one less beneficial table in the FP to hit dice
chart (people who have the large flyer preview can see the chart pretty
well.) If the detachment you're trying to wipe out isn't the only one
your bike companies will take heavy fire.

2) You cannot approach within 10cm of any enemy units during the movement
phase. If you do your movememnt stops at that point. An isolated
detachment will be easily surrounded by fast troops, but if there are
flanking detachments you have to go through them.

3) Only detachments with units in base-to-base can support an Assault. An
exception in War Machines, who are usually a detachment in and of
themselves so they can support without being in the fight.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good and valid tactic for wiping out the enemy,
but it's not quite as easy to pull off as it might seem at first.
