Slightly off the scratch built track - My friends wife recently bought
a coal effect electric fire to sit in a false hearth.

Known to be apathetic about any shopping not involving playing
soldiers I was asked for MHO. I raved about it, fantastic, a bargain!
(The coal shapes are the perfect scale for Necromunda, 40K, D&D, Judge
Dredd etc; the glow effect can be turned on for volcanoes/radiation
wastes; and for a real multimedia experience you can use the hot air
fans. All this AND a handy place to store it too!)
