Yes there are "Fate" cards, much like strategy cards in 40k. YOu get a
set amount at the beginnning and use each one, once at an appropriate
time. One card is the only ranged psychic power and I beleive most of the
other cards allow you to reroll dice and whatnot so the whole battle
doesn't hinge on one d6 roll. I'm sketchy on them since I haven't seen
them.
